Our mission is to commercialize our technologies, designs, and materials to provide improved performance and reduced cost to our fuel cell customers in Asia, North America and Europe. Design for manufacturing has produced the lowest cost, thinnest expanded graphite bipolar plates and sealing options for automotive OEM’s and their suppliers. Illuming Power is engaged in establishing production capacity to meet the demand for mass deployment. Since 2017, our global clients have leveraged Illuming Power’s design and manufacturing expertise to produce thousands of fuel cell stacks for heavy duty automotive applications. Our 6,000 ft² facility in Vancouver, British Columbia was exhaustively renovated and rebuilt to our exacting specifications, complete with engineering offices and meeting rooms, climate controlled clean rooms, rugged manufacturing areas, and a fuel cell testing lab. Our focus on cost and performance has produced competitive MEA’s, superior sealing options, and the lowest cost, thinnest expanded graphite bipolar plates in the industry. Development partnership with Matthews Internationals’ Saueressig Business Unit, a global manufacturer of production lines for the clean energy market and leader in calendering lines for electrode production of lithium-ion batteries for the electric vehicle market. This bespoke workspace is tailored for rapid and efficient cycles of design, validation, and manufacturing.
